We are told over and over again to just keep buying things. New mp3 players, computers, cars, houses, clothes... It shouldn't take an inability to put new products on a maxed out credit card to stop rampant wastefulness. So in honor of not buying into a broken system...stop buying it.
Every time you have the desire to purchase something you do not need to live...be it coffee, lunch on the go, a plastic bottle of water, or a new mansion in Malibu...let me know. I will keep track of all the dollars unspent, so that we can begin to understand capital in a new way.
Maybe the real value of money is what we choose not to buy.
